Our product of the month goes to Sudden Impact for Roses, a premium fertiliser designed to help promote healthy and vibrant growth for roses and other flowering and fruiting plants.
Now available in both pellet and liquid form, Sudden Impact for Roses was carefully developed, trialled and tested over a number of years by Neutrog’s research scientist, Dr Uwe Stroeher, in conjunction with the Rose Society of SA and a number of professional rose growers. The result is an outstanding fertiliser with proven results to increase the number of flowers, increase the quality of individual blooms and improve general plant health, growth and resistance to fungal disease.
What makes Sudden Impact for Roses so special?
Neutrog’s Sudden Impact for Roses is ideal for all flowering and fruiting plants, not just roses.
Don’t just take our word for it – Sudden Impact for Roses is recommended and endorsed by the Rose Societies of South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and the South West Rose Group of WA, along with the National Rose Society of Australia and Heritage Roses in Australia Inc.
This incredible fertiliser is used on the 16,000 roses at the Flemington Racecourse Rose Gardens along with the Victoria State Rose Garden, Morwell Centenary Rose Garden, International Rose Trial Garden SA, Old Parliament House Gardens in Canberra, Araluen Botanic Park in WA, and the National Rose Garden at Woolmers Estate in Tasmania, along with many others.
There are a variety of factors that contribute to the effectiveness of Sudden Impact for Roses but it’s the balance and ratio of nutrients combined with the very best of raw materials that form the real secret to its success. The organic base provides a full range of plant nutrients in slow release form, whilst the addition of carefully selected water-soluble nutrients maximise the performance of each application. The organic raw materials are conditioned utilising a unique composting process and once completed, the water-soluble nutrients are carefully blended into the organic base before being pasteurised and pelleted. The liquid version provides an additional shot of fast-acting nutrients while establishing greater diversity among the beneficial bacteria in the soil.
Sudden Impact for Roses is easy to use and is an ideal addition to your fertilising program for all roses and flowering and fruiting plants.
How to use Sudden Impact for Roses
When using Sudden Impact for Roses, the ideal program is to combine both the liquid and pellet form, depending on the requirements of your individual plants. The pellets are designed to release nutrients slowly while the liquid will give your plants an instant hit to supplement the pellets during growth periods.
When using Sudden Impact for Roses pellets, the following application rates apply:
Established rose bushes – 100g per bush
Established potted rose plants – 15g per 150mm size pot then at 5g per 25mm pot size
Planting (including bare-rooted) – Apply Seamungus at 100g per plant
Sudden Impact for Roses pellets can be used for general garden application (particularly on other flowering and fruiting plants) at 100g per square metre every 8-10 weeks throughout the growing season in conjunction with Seamungus applications in winter.
When using Sudden Impact for Roses liquid, one capful (40ml) diluted in 10 litres of water will treat up to eight square metres of soil (or eight rose bushes). The diluted product must be used within one week of dilution.
For optimum results apply Sudden Impact for Roses liquid every fortnight, together with GOGO Juice every month.
