Whilst the certified organic fertiliser market continues to grow at an enormous rate and seems destined to do so into the future, it currently represents only a small proportion of Neutrog’s business. It is in the conventional commercial and retail markets that Neutrog’s core business lies.

Traditionally, farm, commercial and even home garden fertiliser regimes have involved the use of manufactured or chemically-based fertilisers because of their fast and visible results.
However, it is now recognised that there are detrimental effects from their long-term use.

Organic fertilisers are increasingly seen as adjuncts, even alternatives to chemical fertiliser programs. They offer the opportunity to use more environmentally friendly fertiliser methods with a more wholesome effect on soils and waterways.
